Expansion Dedication – Challenge Coin
You have been presented with a Crater Criminal Justice Training Academy Building Dedication Challenge Coin, you are receiving this coin for one (or more) of the following reasons:
- In appreciation of and to acknowledge your assistance or support that you have provided to the Crater Criminal Justice Training Academy
- To commemorate the occasion of the dedication of the new expansion at the Crater Criminal Justice Training Academy.
These coins were presented by the Academy Executive Director on the occasion of the Building Dedication of the new portion of the Crater Criminal Justice Training Academy on Thursday, November 14th, 2024.
After adding more than a dozen member agencies since the opening of the Academy’s first permanent home in 2005, the Academy required additional space to continue to meet the growing population. In order to meet these needs, the Academy Board of Directors undertook an Academy expansion project to deliver more than an additional 15,000 square feet of space, over doubling our current academy size.
The expansion brings almost 30,000 square feet of space for meeting and exceeding the needs of law enforcement training for future generations to come. The expansion features two, fifty (50) person classrooms, as well as an expanded locker room and break room area, as well as a large multi-purpose training area.
